Chigiri, now free of her hesitation, makes a stunning comeback. Her lightning speed allows her to outpace Team W’s defenders, including the Wanima brothers, and score the equalizing goal. Team Z’s hope is reignited as they fight to the finish.
Chapter 22: Until This Fire Burns Out
The match ends in a hard-fought 4-4 draw. Chigiri, once ready to give up soccer, finds new resolve in the face of her teammates’ unwavering spirit. Kuon faces the wrath of Team W for his betrayal, but Team Z moves forward, stronger than before. The volume ends with the team looking ahead to their next challenge—Team V, the strongest squad in Blue Lock.
